I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together. -Martin Luther King, Jr., (January 15, 1929-April 4, 1968)

Graphic collaboration between Cortez Groupe & Socity. Hats off to the super talented Mr. Raker and of course Mr. King for his words I have a dream.

I learned from a colleague today that if you add the last two numbers of the year you were born plus the age you will be turning in 2011, the result is interesting. Give it a try!

Nautical Knifery

The craftsmanship of knives has intrigued me since I was a kid. Whether playing in the streets or away at camp, the feeling of having a pocket knife always provides a voyeuristic feeling of safety.

These knives on the other hand, provide beauty and function. Enjoy!

Christmas Blizzard of 2010

The sixth largest snowstorm in New York history buried the streets in four-foot drifts, brought transit to a halt and spread a strange and wonderful hush over the city. The Blizzard of 2010 dumped between 18 and 24 inches of snow – with 29 inches reported in parts of Staten Island – and winds gusts up to 60 mph. It was a blast roaming around taking photos of the city.

Vintage Automobile Culture Vol.02-Bentley Boys

The Bentley Boys were a group of wealthy British motorists who drove Bentley sports cars to victory in the 1920s and kept the marque’s reputation for high performance alive. In 1925, as the marque foundered, Bentley Boy Woolf Barnato bought the company, leading to the creation of the famous supercharged Bentley Blower car. I’m not in the market for a new Bentley, but I am always looking for a new pair of goggles.
